Bugz Musical

Bugs invaded the Lowes Island Campus this week as we welcomed the new season with our Spring Musical titled Bugz.
The students, dressed as Bees, Fireflies, Ladybugs, Ants and Caterpillars, performed a musical in which they traveled to a picnic under the tree.
The Bees showed us a picnic dance, the Ladybugs taught us manners before we went, the Ants began the march, and the Fireflies lit the way. The problem was that the Stink Bug came as well!
The students learned that even this problem could be solved when the Caterpillars showed us their vibrant wings as they turned into Butterflies and the Nice Bug masked the smell of the Stink Bug with her beautiful flowers.
The students did a great job with their songs and speaking parts. Thanks to our Music Specialist, all the teachers and the parents who worked with the students to help make our musical a success!
