Parent Attended Program

DSCN2941 cropped.JPG

Our adult-attended programs are for children who are too young to attend our traditional Preschool programs, but who can benefit from an introduction to the school environment.

This class is designed to gently introduce young children to preschool and provide them with an opportunity to learn and play with other children.  A parent or other adult guardian must attend and participate in the class with the child.

Wiggleworms

Age 24 months by December 31st
2 hours
1 day per week
Designed to be the first preschool experience for a young toddler. Includes centers, circle time, storytelling, finger plays, art and craft projects, music and movement experiences with a specialist, outside play, snack, and transitions. Children have the opportunity to improve their language skills and begin to refine their motor skills. An adult attends each class at the beginning of the year and participates with the child. The adults will begin to gradually remove themselves from the classroom at the end of January (adults will remain on campus for Parent Education sessions through the end of February).  Adults can drop off the children in carpool and leave the campus while their students attend the class beginning in March.
