Enrichment Program

As an added service to our parents, we
offer the opportunity to sign up for enrichment programs provided by Village Green teachers and specialists.

These programs are offered after the preschool morning, and provide an opportunity for students to stay one day a week for lunch and into the early afternoon for an additional cost. Programs include Spanish offered in two sessions through the school year, and Lunch Bunch offered as one session for the school year.

Class Offerings

Spanish

The Spanish enrichment class is available to students in our 4 year old classes. Children enrolled in Spanish will enjoy lunch together (the parent can choose to either purchase school lunch or provide a lunch from home) and then participate in a ½ hour Spanish Class.  Through instruction, music, and games the children learn Spanish words for topics such as Colors and Shapes, Numbers, the Calendar, My Family and Friends, My Body, Animals and Pets, and Holidays and Seasons.

Lunch Bunch

1 day per week
The Lunch Bunch enrichment class is available to students in our 4 year old classes who do not attend a childcare class in the afternoon. Children enrolled in Lunch Bunch will enjoy lunch together (the parent can choose to either purchase school lunch or provide a lunch from home), participate in an enrichment activity and go out to play. The enrichment time may include such topics as cooking, science, literature, geography, and famous people.
