In 1990, Village Green was accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. At that time, the school voluntarily underwent a comprehensive process of internal self-study, which concluded with a review by outside early childhood education professionals. That accreditation attests that we were in compliance with the academy’s criteria for high-quality early childhood programs. We continue to maintain those standards. In 1999, Village Green chose to be fully accredited by the National Private Schools Association Group’s Accreditation Alliance. In 1990, the School was accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA). Although we continue to maintain ACA standards, we have chosen not to maintain this accreditation. We are also licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and meet the rigorous requirements of the Fairfax and Loudoun County health and fire departments. Like all licensed facilities, we are subject to frequent inspections to guarantee that we meet or exceed the requisite safety and health codes.
