Students from local public elementary schools may participate in our School Age Child Care Program, also known as SACC, before and/or after their school day. Our hours are from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We offer care during county teacher workdays, snow days, and spring break, which is available on a sign-up basis for an additional fee. We close only for severe weather conditions and holidays, as noted on the annual school calendar. The children in SACC are allowed the freedom to choose activities. Indoor recreational games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, physical fitness, drama and cooking are only some of the activities supervised by our staff. Outside specialists will come onsite to teach enrichment classes. Included in these classes are choices such as foreign language, soccer, science, yoga, dance and karate. Students will go on field trips and special trips are planned for the student holidays. Village Green offers a variety of programs to our three year old and older students after their preschool or kindergarten program and to our elementary students who come in the afternoon. These programs are designed to expand and enrich the learning of our students.
